HR Manager

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its Kuwait HR team. You will help shape and execute HR strategy across recruitment, organizational design, retention, reward, employee relations and engagement, supporting a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line managers as a consultant to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures.
• Lead the HR agenda for the two supported countries, providing coaching, advice and oversight of HR processes.
• Manage job description development, recruitment approvals and act as the communication hub for the HR team.
• Drive HR components of change and transformation programmes across the six markets.
• Implement performance management, disciplinary, absence and remuneration policies, and advise on promotions and transfers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; HR accreditation is a plus.
• Minimum five years of HR experience in an international company, including at least two years in an HR management role.
• Proven people‑management skills, strong employee‑relations experience and ability to mentor and coach.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
• Experience working with labour authorities and unions, and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
