Operator – Managed Pressure Drilling

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Operator specialized in Managed Pressure Drilling to support service line operations on on‑shore and off‑shore locations. The role involves assisting with equipment rigging, running GeoBalance applications, and ensuring data quality at the well site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in rigging up and down service line equipment under direct supervision.
• Perform basic GeoBalance applications, preparing equipment for installation and service.
• Support job execution, clean‑up, equipment repair, and preparation for subsequent jobs.
• Monitor instruments and conduct calculations to assure data quality at the well.
• Work in the shop to assist with repair and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Identify tool components by type and size and explain their functions.
• Promote positive customer relations on‑site and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma plus 3+ years of oil‑field drilling experience, including 2+ years in underbalanced or managed pressure drilling.
• Diploma in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
• Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
• Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Operator‑GBA.
• Current residency in Kuwait (transferable residency article 18 is a plus).
• Good communication skills.
