Hydrotest Technician – Piping (Power Stations & Water Distillation)

About the role

The Hydrotest Technician will join the Mechanical Department (Boiler & Piping) for a major power‑station and water‑distillation project in Kuwait. Ten positions are available to perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pressure testing of pipelines, valves and related equipment using hydraulic and pneumatic methods.
• Fit and assemble pipe sections, verify correct valve operation, and calibrate testing equipment.
• Detect and locate leaks, record pressure gauge readings, and document test results.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate test logs for client approval.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI qualification in a relevant technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience in hydrotest, pipe fitting, or similar roles within power‑station or water‑distillation projects.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuwait and attend walk‑in shortlisting in April.
