About the role
The Restaurant Manager will lead all daily operations of a high‑end dining venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with culinary, service, and marketing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, maintaining brand standards for service and food quality.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff across front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house departments.
- Monitor sales performance, develop strategies to meet or exceed targets, and control costs including labor, food, and waste.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait Municipality regulations and food safety standards.
- Prepare operational reports covering sales, staffing, wastage, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing on promotions and campaigns.
- Drive team motivation, discipline, and performance through effective leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing upscale restaurant operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; a diploma in Hotel/Restaurant Management is acceptable with relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or Restaurant Operations are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
- Experience with multi‑cuisine or Asian dining concepts is a plus.
