Accountant

About the role

Media Market is hiring a full-time Accountant in Al Kuwait. The accountant records, analyzes, interprets and reports the organization's financial data, ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations, keeps accurate financial records and provides insights for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers, journals and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports
• Analyze historical data to help management set budgets and forecast financial trends
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensure adherence to tax laws and manage regulatory reporting
• Conduct internal or external audits, reconcile accounts and safeguard organizational assets
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend cost management and financial planning measures

Required profile

• Ability to interpret financial statements and analyze revenue, expenses and trends
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting
• Critical thinking to evaluate financial data and identify risks and opportunities
• Communication skills to convey financial information clearly to management and stakeholders
