ADPE Technician (Desktop Support) – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

About the role

The ADPE Technician provides professional laptop and desktop support to military and civilian customers in Kuwait. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring network settings, and ensuring system stability on DoD‑approved platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain DOD‑approved communications software and security tools on government computers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Configure Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 2007, Outlook, and Active Directory domain joins.
• Resolve network connectivity issues, set up TCP/IP configurations, and manage network printer connections.
• Support Microsoft Exchange Server connectivity and other software installations as required.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of automation equipment repair experience.
• Valid U.S. passport, International Driver’s Permit, and U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to pass medical, dental, psychological, and police clearance examinations.
• Strong customer service skills and adherence to DoD 8570.01‑M certification requirements.
