ADPE Technician (Desktop Support) – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

About the role

The ADPE Technician provides laptop and desktop support to military and civilian customers in Kuwait, handling hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring system stability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain DoD‑approved communications and security software on government computers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Configure Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, network printers, and TCP/IP settings.
• Join PCs to Microsoft Active Directory domains and manage Outlook configurations.
• Resolve network connectivity and Microsoft Exchange Server issues at the desktop level.
• Perform other Service Desk functions as required.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of automation equipment repair experience.
• Valid U.S. passport, International Driver’s Permit, and U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to pass medical, dental, psychological, and police clearance examinations.
• Strong customer‑service skills and adherence to DoD 8570.01‑M certification requirements.
