ADPE Technician (Desktop Support) – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

About the role

The ADPE Technician provides professional laptop and desktop support to military and civilian customers at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring network connections, and ensuring system stability on DoD‑approved platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain DOD‑approved communications and security software on government computers.
• Repair and maintain desktop and laptop hardware, including custom TCP/IP configurations.
• Join client PCs to Microsoft Active Directory domains and configure Outlook, Exchange, and network printers.
• Resolve Windows OS, Microsoft Office 2007, and Microsoft Exchange connectivity issues.
• Provide Service Desk functions and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of automation equipment repair experience.
• Valid U.S. passport, International Driver’s Permit and U.S. driver’s license; ability to pass police clearance and medical qualifications.
• Strong customer‑service skills and ability to meet all health and deployment requirements.
