Advanced Field Service Engineer

About the role

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide expert technical support for its Process Automation business unit in Kuwait. You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure successful solution implementation, and drive customer satisfaction while working on a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical problems on EPKS servers, C300 controllers, and related ICSS components.
• Perform hardware replacements, fault finding, and on‑site modifications for FIM, fieldbus, and thin‑client systems.
• Execute GTAC data collection, audit checks, and graphic modifications according to GTAC guidelines.
• Manage 3rd‑party communication protocols, including OPC, Integrator, and Modbus.
• Carry out software reinstallations, patch updates, MS‑ISO and AV updates, and firmware upgrades on online systems.
• Collaborate with customers to implement control strategies and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Required profile

• 8+ years experience as a senior Field Service Manager or senior FSM.
• 5+ years experience as a service maintenance engineer.
• Minimum L3/L4 & OPM certifications for Honeywell DCS (TPS preferred) and EPKS.
• Experience with site management, virtualization, and cybersecurity (CCNI) is a plus.
