Aircraft Mechanic III (AH64) – Buehring, Kuwait

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic III (AH64) is responsible for the full spectrum of maintenance, repair and modification of tactical military aircraft stationed in Buehring, Kuwait. You will work on complex airframe and power‑plant systems, ensuring aircraft are safe, airworthy and mission‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and modification of flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Interpret blueprints, technical manuals and maintenance data to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain aircraft logs, records and weight‑and‑balance documentation.
• Plan, conduct and supervise technical inspections and maintenance test flights.
• Ensure compliance with configuration control, oil‑analysis programs and diagnostic equipment calibration.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower‑level technicians throughout all maintenance activities.
• Prepare evaluations, special reports and other required documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of aviation maintenance experience on the same mission design series within the past ten years.
• Valid passport with at least three years remaining at hire.
• Ability to obtain a UK DBS check and clear CENTCOM medical requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize workloads and supervise complex aircraft tasks.

Required skills

• Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair.
• Sheet‑metal and structural modification techniques.
• Basic electrical theory applied to aircraft systems.
• Use of specialized tools: test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet‑metal brakes and shears.
• Working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems.
