Art Teacher (PreK–12) – Salmiya, Kuwait

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its British international curriculum for the academic year beginning August 2026. You will teach Art from Pre‑K through KS5/A‑Level, delivering the Pearson Edexcel curriculum to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Art lessons up to KS5/A‑Level.
• Implement the Pearson Edexcel Art curriculum and adapt resources to meet student needs.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking and artistic skills across all year groups.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and community art initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate outcomes to parents and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE or QTS from the UK.
• Minimum three years post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching the Pearson Edexcel curriculum in a UK or British international school.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Art up to KS5/A‑Level.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Valid police clearance/DBS and two professional references.
