Artificial Lift Systems Field Specialist – ESP

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as an Artificial Lift Systems Field Specialist focusing on Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment. You will work on‑site executing ESP operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, run, inspect, modify and repair ESP pumps, motors, cables and down‑hole equipment at the contractor’s base.
• Perform pre‑commissioning checks and tests to guarantee successful start‑up and continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns, maintaining ESP equipment in the field.
• Install, operate and maintain Y‑tool and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with ESP systems.
• Technical degree (Diploma or higher) related to the field.
• Flexibility to work on a rotational shift basis.
• Industry experience and product line training specific to ESP.

Required skills

• Installation, operation and maintenance of ESP equipment.
• Down‑hole troubleshooting of ESP systems.
• Experience with Y‑tool and VSD systems.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, cables and related surface equipment.
