Assistant Site Manager – Fuels Operations, Maintenance & Repair

About the role

The Assistant Site Manager – Fuels Operations, Maintenance & Repair (ASM) supports the Site Manager in overseeing fuel system operations, maintenance and repair across warm base facilities. The role ensures fuel distribution equipment is ready for rapid deployment and supports exercise and real‑world operations with safety and quality focus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of all fuel distribution systems, including tanks, bladders, hoses and servicing equipment.
• Respond to fuel spills, operate fueling equipment, and conduct diesel and aviation fuel receipt, inventory tracking and quality control.
• Provide diesel refueling for generators, light carts, heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Support warm‑base operations, including inspections, preventive maintenance, power generation, electrical distribution, HVAC and other utility systems.
• Supervise personnel, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Act as Site Manager in their absence and coordinate with Fuel Systems Technician.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fuel systems operation and maintenance.
• Ability to supervise crews and manage site‑level logistics.
• Familiarity with USG‑supported exercise and contingency operations.
• Strong focus on safety, quality control and environmental responsibility.
