Associate Vendor Operations

About the role

Talabat is looking for an Associate Vendor Operations professional to support the local Operations Manager and key account managers. You will be the main point of contact for vendors, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate catalog management, and timely resolution of any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Ops Manager in improving operational metrics and setting vendors up for success.
• Lead new vendor onboarding, including inventory scanning, catalog creation, and verification of 100% accuracy.
• Update vendor information such as opening hours, contact numbers, and assortment details.
• Coordinate monthly scanning dates, update catalogs, and manage price changes.
• Monitor daily performance, inventory, and price updates; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyse vendor assortment performance, generate reports, and share insights with the Ops Manager.
• Provide training, tools, and process guidance to vendors, ensuring compliance.
• Handle technical or process incidents, create tickets, and deliver immediate solutions.
• Collaborate with other vendor coordinators across the market to share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar vendor operations or catalog management role.
• Fluent Arabic (must) and strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make logical decisions.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Data analysis capabilities.
