B2 Licensed Engineer – H225 Helicopter

About the role

Volantes Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced EASA/UKCAA B2 Licensed Engineer to join a government‑contracted helicopter operation in Kuwait. You will work on a fleet that includes the H225, EC135 and AS365, ensuring aircraft are serviceable and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and certify avionics and electrical system tasks in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
• Prepare and submit all required paperwork, documentation, and material releases using company computer systems.
• Utilise approved tools and ground support equipment while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ensure all tooling is accounted for and post‑maintenance actions are completed.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and sustainability standards throughout all activities.

Required profile

• EASA or UKCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence – Category B2.
• Strong technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems on helicopters.
• Good understanding of aircraft maintenance regulations, health & safety, and human factors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work shift‑based schedule and travel as required.

Required skills

• Avionics and electrical systems maintenance.
• OEM knowledge for H225, EC135, AS365 (and optionally MD/Leonardo) helicopters.
• Human Factors training.
• Safety Management Systems (SMS) familiarity.
• EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) competence.
• Fuel tank safety procedures.
