Banquet Service Assistant Server (Food and Beverage)

About the role

Four Seasons Kuwait is looking for a Banquet Service Assistant Server for its food and beverage department. The role supports the Banquet Manager in setting up and serving functions, ensuring smooth service and proper clean-up.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the set-up of functions: check the physical layout of the room, give servers the right set-up information and post updated function sheets in the Banquet Kitchen.
• Oversee the service of the function assigned by the Banquet Manager and make sure staff follow all service rules.
• Meet individual hosts and make yourself available to them for any need.
• Complete the Captain's log book at the end of the shift or function.
• Prepare and post daily room assignments for servers, including specific times for set-up and service.
• Oversee clean-up of functions and the proper removal and storage of hotel linen and skirting.
• Handle and store props and specialty china properly.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Thorough and pays attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication in English and Arabic is a plus; active listening skills also valued.
