Barista – Specialty Coffee (Kuwait)

About the role

Join a leading hospitality brand in Kuwait as a Barista – Specialty Coffee. We're looking for a passionate coffee professional with strong specialty coffee knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and hands‑on experience in espresso preparation, manual brewing, and latte art.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages according to standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and beverage quality across branches.
• Perform professional espresso extraction and maintain coffee quality.
• Prepare latte art designs with high standards.
• Prepare V60 coffee using proper brewing techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Follow company recipes, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Support branch operations during busy hours, events, and peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of direct F&B experience, with proven experience as a Barista or senior barista.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk steaming, and specialty coffee preparation.
• Excellent latte art skills, including Heart, Tulip, and Swan designs.
• Hands‑on experience in V60 manual brewing and other specialty coffee brewing methods.
• Experience working in specialty coffee shops or premium café brands preferred.
• Ability to maintain consistent coffee quality, beverage presentation, and brand standards across multiple branches.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Previous GCC experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and deliver excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including late hours when required.
• Strong understanding of coffee hygiene, equipment maintenance, and workplace cleanliness.

• Salary 150 KWD to 190 KWD based on experience
• 20 KWD food allowance
