Business Analyst - ERP Technical (SAP ABAP/S4 HANA)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst – ERP Technical to join our multicultural team in Kuwait. You will bridge business needs and SAP technology, delivering robust solutions across multiple modules while ensuring system performance and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, enhance, and fix SAP ABAP code to meet business requirements.
• Gather and translate functional specifications into technical deliverables.
• Implement solutions within agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and proof‑of‑concept activities to recommend system improvements.
• Maintain code standards, perform unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Monitor integration activities (IDocs, RFCs, APIs) and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prepare training materials and support end‑user training sessions.
• Manage incidents, ensure timely resolution, and document processes per IT audit standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3‑5 years of SAP ABAP development.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus; certifications in Fiori/UI5, OData or HANA are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with effective communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP ABAP (including OO‑ABAP, Workflows, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs).
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, RFCs and APIs.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services and HANA/S4 HANA platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL incident and change management processes.
