C-17 Mechanical Aircraft Technician (Kuwait)

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking an experienced C-17 Mechanical Aircraft Technician to join the on‑site Integrated Sustainment Program at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. You will support day‑to‑day flight line and back‑shop maintenance of the Kuwait Air Force C‑17 Globemaster III fleet, ensuring aircraft readiness for mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform organizational level tasks such as aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and structural repairs on the flight line.
• Execute intermediate level back‑shop activities including component repair, test‑set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections.
• Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems and components.
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults.
• Conduct validation and verification testing, document procedures, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect repaired components and certify flight‑worthiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on C‑17 maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Fluent English reading, speaking, and comprehension.
• Willingness to work onsite at Al Mubarak Air Base.
