C-17 Product Repair & Modifications Technician

About the role

Boeing is seeking an experienced C-17 Product Repair & Modifications Technician to join the on‑site Integrated Sustainment Program at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. You will support the Kuwait Air Force’s C‑17 Globemaster III fleet, performing both flight‑line and back‑shop maintenance to ensure mission readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assembly, disassembly, and modification of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement upgrades.
• Perform flight‑line tasks such as aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and structural repair.
• Execute intermediate‑level back‑shop activities including component repair, test‑set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections.
• Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Oversee validation/verification testing, document procedures, and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect components, verify repairs for airworthiness, and supervise safe handling of aircraft (jacking, towing, system operations).
• Provide training and mentorship to junior personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of C‑17 maintenance experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and comprehending English.
• Willingness to obtain a work visa if required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in an on‑site environment.
