CBK Reporting Officer

About the role

The CBK Reporting Officer is responsible for producing and supervising all reports required by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK). The role supports the Difficult Debts database, ensures compliance with risk policies, and provides day‑to‑day supervision of a reporting team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Central Risk Reports for all borrowing relationships in line with CBK guidelines.
• Assist with the Difficult Debts database and handle related queries.
• Review and process first‑time credit facility inquiries (AM5) and ensure accurate collateral data in the CBK online system (AM2).
• Operate CBK online platforms, including returned cheque handling and other inquiries.
• Scan and archive all reports and correspondence sent to CBK.
• Respond to CBK‑related queries, coordinate with internal groups, and close issues within required timelines.
• Work strictly within established risk policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Provide daily supervision and oversight of the reporting team’s work.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of CBK reporting requirements and online systems.
• Experience in risk reporting, collateral management, and handling difficult debt cases.
• Ability to supervise a small team and ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Familiarity with banking compliance and governance frameworks.
