Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Lead Finance & Strategy

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior finance leader to shape and execute its financial strategy, support growth initiatives, and ensure robust financial governance across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director and executive team.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and scenario analysis.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, cash‑flow, working capital, and profitability monitoring.
• Manage relationships with local and international banks, including letters of credit, guarantees, and trade finance facilities.
• Develop KPIs, improve internal controls, policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to assess project profitability, pricing, and contract terms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior financial leadership.
• Experience in sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial Trading, Engineering Supply or EPC.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning & analysis, treasury management, banking facilities, trade finance, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and ERP systems.
