Clinical Biochemistry Physician

About the role

A Clinical Biochemistry Physician is sought for a full-time, on-site position in Kuwait City. The physician oversees clinical biochemistry laboratory operations, reviews and validates laboratory results, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards and supports accurate diagnostic testing.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory procedures and monitor quality control processes
• Interpret biochemical test results and validate laboratory results
• Collaborate with medical professionals
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS, MD or equivalent)
• Specialization in Clinical Biochemistry or Clinical Pathology
• Valid Kuwait MOH license (mandatory)
• Relevant experience in clinical biochemistry and medical diagnostic laboratories

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, quality assurance and quality control
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, automated analyzers and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills
