Commercial Procurement Account Manager

About the role

The Commercial Procurement Account Manager is responsible for purchasing all commercial requirements of Zain and managing communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role ensures that procurement activities are carried out efficiently, in line with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs, tenders, evaluations and stock management.
• Conduct risk assessments, market research and proactive demand management.
• Support commercial procurement across multiple categories and coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
• Analyse procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and prepare KPI reports.
• Review and evaluate contracts and vendor offers, ensuring compliance with ISMS and environmental policies.
• Execute procurement decisions while maintaining alignment with company policies and timely follow‑up on requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contract evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
