Corporate Services Procurement Manager

About the role

The Corporate Services Procurement Manager will lead HR and consultancy procurement activities across Zain Group divisions. The role ensures tender processes, order management, and supplier relationships are handled within budget and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the development of an annual purchasing plan, coordinating with departments to capture similar needs and achieve economies of scale for HR and other consultancy services.
• Support the annual procurement budget, ensuring purchases stay within allocated limits and managing budget reallocations as needed.
• Negotiate and re‑negotiate Group Framework Agreements for consultancy categories, including yearly rate cards and pricing.
• Manage relationships with Group vendors for consultancy services.
• Draft tender evaluation methods, compliance criteria, and scoring metrics.
• Issue RFPs and oversee the tender evaluation process according to predefined frameworks.
• Maintain and update the supplier database, tracking approved and rejected vendors.
• Supervise purchase order processing for services and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor service level agreements and evaluate vendor performance.
• Contribute to building strong supplier and customer relationships to optimise procurement performance across the Group and OpCos.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar procurement role.
