Contract Engineer – Procurement & Contract Management

About the role

The Contract Engineer provides professional support across the main office and designated sites in Kuwait, ensuring contracts are managed, monitored and executed in line with company policies, HSE standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse and negotiate contracts, sub‑contracts and procurement documents.
• Implement tracking systems, monitor performance indicators and manage disputes to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Prepare contractual correspondence, conduct project kick‑off meetings and develop contract management plans.
• Evaluate bids, recommend awards, process purchase orders and invoice payments.
• Close out contracts after delivery of services and products, ensuring all documentation is complete.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant contract management or procurement experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Strong contract administration, compliance monitoring and amendment handling.
• Expertise in procurement, tendering, bid evaluation and subcontract management.
• Negotiation and dispute‑resolution abilities with contractors, suppliers and bidders.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, budgets, deliverables and contractual obligations.
