Contracts Engineer

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Contracts Engineer to join its EPC team on a major project in Kuwait. The role involves monitoring contract compliance, handling legal documentation, and supporting project management throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and ensure compliance with construction and related contracts.
• Prepare and manage all contractual correspondence and legal documents for project execution.
• Ensure contractual obligations to the client are met and report status to management.
• Identify contractual and legal issues at project level and advise project management.
• Draft contracts and legal documents with third parties using standard templates.
• Review supplier/sub‑contractor proposals and prepare responses, bids and contract modifications.
• Analyze and manage business conflicts with clients or third parties, proposing solutions.
• Document minutes of progress meetings with clients and consortium partners.
• Maintain comprehensive contractual records, including correspondence and claims.
• Coordinate with Project Controls to collect data for litigation, arbitration or settlement matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or law (LLM, ACIARB, MSC, etc.).
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role with an EPC contractor on large infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong contractual analytical abilities and the capacity to work independently or lead a team.
