Control Room Operator

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Control Room Operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of the UF/RO reclamation plant at its Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment & Reclamation facility in Kuwait. The role works on shift duty, supporting the process leader and operation manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor UF/RO system performance, plant utilities and online instruments via DCS/SCADA.
• Investigate, diagnose and report abnormalities, coordinating corrective actions with field service and maintenance teams.
• Record and report shift activities, including turbidity, conductivity, chemical usage and CIP logs.
• Apply LOTO procedures, ensure safe isolation of equipment and oversee maintenance work until completion.
• Prepare chemicals, perform lab analyses and collaborate with the chemical department for safe handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years experience in wastewater treatment and reclamation plants.
• Proven experience with UF and RO membrane technology.
• Knowledge of plant safety, EHS procedures and good English communication skills.
