About the role

The American International University in Kuwait seeks a visionary Dean to lead its School of Business. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to advance high‑quality business education.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management for faculty, academic programs, and administrative operations.
• Lead curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance management.
• Promote research and scholarly activity among faculty and students.
• Engage the Business Advisory Committee to align programs with industry needs.
• Lead accreditation and quality‑assurance processes, including AACSB frameworks.
• Maintain external communications and strengthen industry partnerships, internships, and experiential learning.
• Represent the School in university leadership and strategic initiatives.
• Promote student success, retention, progression, and employability.

Required profile

• Significant experience in professional and academic positions.
• Strong record of teaching and outstanding international academic achievements.
• Published research in recognized international scientific journals.
• Active participation in conferences, symposiums, and exhibitions.
