Dermatology Consultant

About the role

MD Clinic, a multidisciplinary healthcare centre in Sabah Al Salem, Kuwait, is hiring a full-time, on-site Dermatology Consultant. The consultant provides comprehensive dermatological assessments, diagnoses and manages acute and chronic skin conditions, and delivers evidence-based treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outpatient consultations and conduct minor dermatologic and aesthetic procedures
• Review diagnostic tests and maintain clear, accurate medical records
• Educate patients on preventive skin care and treatment options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and follow clinical guidelines, infection control standards and the clinic's quality and safety protocols
• Take part in continuous professional development and service improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency or training in Dermatology from a recognised institution
• Board certification or equivalent in Dermatology, with eligibility for licensure to practice in Kuwait
• Experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinic setting; experience with accredited healthcare organisations is a plus
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Required skills

• Diagnosing and managing common and complex dermatologic conditions
• Performing dermatologic procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy) and aesthetic treatments
• Strong clinical judgment, evidence-based practice and patient safety awareness
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with electronic medical records
