Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources leads the university’s HR function, aligning people strategy with the institution’s RISE Strategy 2026‑2030 and regulatory requirements. This senior role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy in line with the RISE Strategy and institutional objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, employee relations and compliance.
• Advise senior leadership on talent risks, succession planning and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee HR analytics, policy governance and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Extensive senior HR leadership experience in a complex organization, preferably in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour law and international accreditation requirements.
• Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable HR initiatives.
