About the role
The Director of Sales will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, working closely with the Commercial Director and senior management to drive revenue growth and strengthen market positioning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify priority initiatives and support business areas needing extra focus.
- Prepare and negotiate hotel contracts in line with current pricing and market conditions.
- Monitor offers, discounts, and repeat bookings for groups, congresses, and seminars in coordination with the Group Coordinator.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, including participation in hiring and performance development.
- Oversee the forecasting process with the Revenue Department to ensure accurate and timely data.
- Produce regular reports such as forecasts, lead management, and booking summaries.
- Contribute to the annual sales and market plan, quarterly updates, and the hotel’s annual budget.
- Implement initiatives to respond to market, economic, or competitive changes.
- Coordinate with reservations, banqueting, and other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Required profile
- Proven experience in hotel sales management and revenue generation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high‑performing sales teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with senior leadership and cross‑functional departments.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and preparing strategic sales reports.
