Electrical & BMS Draftsman (5-8 yrs) – Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & BMS Draftsman to create accurate shop drawings for building projects in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have 5‑8 years of drafting experience, a solid understanding of electrical and building management systems, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and BMS shop drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
• Develop layout drawings, single‑line diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable routing, and panel details.
• Update as‑built drawings according to site conditions and engineer instructions.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, BMS Engineers, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings in response to consultant comments and client feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial building projects.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of electrical systems and BMS drawing standards.
• Understanding of HVAC control systems, ELV, and building automation layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings.
• Familiarity with Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
