Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our architectural/engineering office in Kuwait. The role involves creating design concepts, producing detailed electrical calculations, and preparing construction documents for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schematic design concepts approved by the CEO and Chief Architect.
• Coordinate design development across all disciplines.
• Prepare Bills of Quantity, cost divisions, and CSI MasterFormat specifications.
• Finalize and refine construction documents, including detailed load calculations and drawing sets.
• Act as site engineer for the electrical department, providing weekly reports with photographic documentation.
• Manage electrical work on‑site and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical design.
• Relevant certifications with embassy attestation (if applicable).
• Professional references and recommendation letters.
• Valid passport copy.

Required skills

• Electrical design and load calculations.
• Construction documentation preparation.
• Bill of Quantity preparation.
• Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat specifications.
