Electrical Engineer – Construction Projects (Kuwait)

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer to join its Kuwait team. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, systems, and safety compliance on construction projects, ensuring that all work meets design specifications, local building regulations, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installations, systems, and equipment throughout all construction phases.
• Analyse electrical drawings, blueprints and technical documentation to verify accuracy and pre‑empt issues.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and subcontractors to schedule work, resolve technical challenges and keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections and testing of power distribution, lighting, fire safety and emergency backup systems.
• Document all electrical work, inspections and test results, maintaining comprehensive project records.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and Kuwait building codes.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to project managers, architects and other stakeholders.
