Electrical Fitter - Electric Motor Maintenance

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is hiring an Electrical Fitter in Kuwait through its On Sync Energy Management Services Company. The role centres on the maintenance, repair and restoration of electric motors used in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, overhaul, reassemble and align electric motors of various sizes and power ratings.
• Perform maintenance, repair and restoration of electric motor components that require skilled fitting.
• Diagnose motor faults and carry out the necessary corrective maintenance.
• Ensure repaired motors meet the required operational and safety standards.
• Follow maintenance procedures and applicable HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Either a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a Secondary School Certificate.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance and repair in the Oil & Gas, refinery or process industry (for diploma holders).
• Or at least 5 years of practical experience in electrical equipment repair within the Oil & Gas industry (for secondary school certificate holders).
• Hands-on experience dismantling, overhauling, reassembling and aligning electric motors.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical motor maintenance, troubleshooting and repair practices.
• Ability to diagnose motor faults and perform corrective maintenance.
