Electrician – Installation & Commissioning

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to carry out installation, commissioning and testing of electrical systems for KDD projects in Kuwait. The role involves delivering high‑quality LV/HV, fire‑alarm, network and control wiring installations while ensuring compliance with KDD and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Execute electrical installation, commissioning, testing and validation of LV/HV systems, control panels, fire‑alarm and network wiring.
- Install cable trays, route cables, perform terminations and field wiring for various systems.
- Assemble, install and assist in commissioning of electrical and control panel boards according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other technicians to meet project timelines.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment in line with HSE regulations.
- Provide technical support and resolve site‑related electrical issues.
Required profile
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of hands‑on experience in electrical installation and commissioning.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
Required skills
- Installation and testing of HV and LV power systems.
- Fire‑alarm (FA) system installation.
- Control systems wiring and panel assembly.
- Cable tray installation, routing, termination and field wiring.
- Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
