English Preparatory Program Instructor

About the role

The leading private college in Kuwait is seeking full‑time instructors for its English Preparatory Program starting Fall 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality English instruction to students preparing for higher‑education studies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver course materials, lectures, and classroom activities.
• Create quizzes, assessments, and examinations aligned with program objectives.
• Mentor and monitor students’ academic progress, providing guidance on projects and coursework.
• Participate actively in departmental and college‑wide initiatives, meetings, and committees.
• Support research, service, and professional development activities as required.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in TESOL, Linguistics, English Literature or a related field from an internationally accredited university.
• CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent ESL teaching certification preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, interdisciplinary, fast‑paced academic environment.
• Demonstrable proficiency in oral and written English, the primary language of instruction.

Required skills

• Strong command of English (oral and written).
• Experience preparing academic teaching materials and assessments.
• Ability to evaluate and mentor student performance.
