English Teacher – Secondary (Asia & Middle East)

About the role

International and bilingual schools across Asia and the Middle East are looking for experienced secondary English teachers to join their teams for the August 2026 intake. You will deliver engaging, academically rigorous English lessons to both native‑speaker and additional‑language learners in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum (British, IB, American, etc.).
• Teach reading, writing, speaking, and literary analysis across secondary grades.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student progress, provide regular feedback, and maintain records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a closely related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed. or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Experience with an international curriculum such as IGCSE, A‑Level, or IB is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to adapt to new cultural and professional environments.
