Event Services Supervisor

About the role

The Event Services Supervisor ensures seamless execution of banquet and event operations, leading a team to deliver high‑quality guest experiences in a hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure staff teamwork, inspect grooming and attire, and address deficiencies.
• Set up banquet areas, maintain cleanliness, and verify table set‑ups meet guest and company standards.
• Communicate with guests and other departments to fulfill special banquet arrangements and address service needs.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain uniform and personal appearance standards, protect confidential information and company assets.
• Document relevant information in department logbooks and report safety or security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, complete safety training, and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Clear and professional communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
