Exams Officer – Secondary (IGCSE) – Kuwait

About the role

The school is seeking an organised Exams Officer to manage the full lifecycle of internal and external examinations for secondary students. You will ensure compliance with Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level board requirements while supporting students to achieve their best results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate all internal and external examinations, including timetables, venues, seating arrangements and material distribution.
• Maintain strict compliance with awarding body regulations and school policies throughout the exam process.
• Recruit, train and supervise invigilators, guaranteeing exam security and smooth operation.
• Manage special access arrangements and provide accommodations for learners with approved needs.
• Communicate examination schedules and procedures to students, staff and parents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience administering exams, preferably within a British‑curriculum school.
• Strong attention to detail, high confidentiality and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
