Experienced Driller for 3000HP Land/Onshore Rigs

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Driller with hands‑on experience on 3000HP deep‑drilling land rigs to join our onshore operations in Kuwait. The successful candidate will lead drilling activities, ensure safety compliance, and mentor junior crew members.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and supervise drilling equipment such as drawworks, mud pumps, and drilling systems.
• Monitor drilling parameters, make adjustments, and troubleshoot to optimise performance.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and report any incidents.
• Collaborate with assistant drillers, derrickhands, and roughnecks for smooth rig operations.
• Prepare daily drilling reports and keep accurate maintenance and safety records.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate timely repairs.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Driller on 3000HP or larger deep‑drilling land rigs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in drilling is a plus.
• Valid Well Control certification (IWCF or IADC).
• Safety certifications such as H2S, First Aid, and Firefighting.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to lead by example.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding, remote onshore environment.
