Field Test Engineer – Power Services

About the role

The Power Services Engineering team at GE Vernova is looking for a Field Test Engineer to support regional customer field tests from the Kuwait Technology Center. The role involves installing instrumentation, collecting test data, and delivering reports for gas and steam turbine projects across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Execute regional field tests and laboratory support, including instrumentation placement, cable routing, and data acquisition.
• Operate test software, ensure traceable documentation, and collect quality data according to procedures.
• Develop and update test procedures for field samples, aligning with international standards.
• Design and construct lab test facilities, rigs, and instrumentation systems.
• Perform periodic calibrations and maintain equipment per ISO guidelines.
• Report test results and daily activities to stakeholders promptly.
• Adhere to EHS safety guidelines, participate in audits, and close open safety issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Material, Instrumentation, Aerospace or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field or laboratory testing, handling instrumentation and test procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites in GCC and globally.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in Arabic and English.

Required skills
