Garden Projects Manager

About the role

The Garden Projects Manager leads the planning, execution, and maintenance of garden projects for a diverse client base. You will translate client requirements into actionable plans, supervise field teams, and ensure high‑quality delivery from design through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of garden projects, from site assessment to final handover.
• Select appropriate plants, trees, and flowers based on client preferences and site conditions.
• Supervise installation and regular maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop and implement periodic maintenance plans, including pruning, fertilisation, pest control, and plant replacement.
• Monitor plant health, diagnose issues promptly, and intervene with corrective actions.
• Manage field teams, assign tasks, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Track project timelines and budgets, conduct site visits, and prepare progress reports for management.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source high‑quality plants and materials at competitive prices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in garden project execution and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of plant and tree varieties and their care techniques.
• Proven ability to diagnose plant problems, manage pests and diseases, and implement modern cultivation methods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building lasting client relationships.
• Valid driving licence.
