Head of Operational Excellence

About the role

The Head of Operational Excellence will lead the Group’s continuous‑improvement agenda across a wide range of business verticals, from manufacturing and engineering to financial services and automotive. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for embedding a culture of efficiency, quality and innovation throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group‑wide Operational Excellence strategy, roadmap and governance framework.
• Lead the deployment of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies across all business units to drive efficiency, quality and sustainable cost optimisation.
• Partner with executive leaders to identify transformation priorities and translate them into measurable business outcomes.
• Build, develop and mentor a high‑performing Operational Excellence team and a network of internal change agents.
• Define, monitor and benchmark performance indicators against industry best practice, reporting progress and risks to senior management.
• Lead change‑management initiatives, capability development and the institutionalisation of best practices Group‑wide.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification (or Black Belt with proven leadership track record).
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation or Continuous Improvement, including senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in delivering large‑scale process‑improvement projects with measurable financial impact.
