Head of Services – Kuwait, Qatar & Oman

About the role

Citi Services is seeking a senior leader to head its Services business across the high‑growth GCC markets of Kuwait, Qatar and Oman. Reporting to the MEP Services sub‑cluster leadership team, you will shape and execute a cross‑border strategy that drives market share, deepens client relationships and reinforces Citi’s position as the leading global transaction‑banking provider in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement short‑ and long‑term Services strategy aligned with MEA and global objectives.
• Drive revenue, EBIT and expense targets across the three markets while overseeing sales, product, operations and technology teams.
• Lead client acquisition, retention and wallet‑share expansion for all Services lines.
• Champion digital transformation and fintech innovation to meet GCC market trends.
• Manage regulatory relationships and ensure compliance with regional risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with the Services Operations Head to advance the business agenda and secure technology business case approvals.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in transaction banking, cash management or related financial services.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and managing P&L in a multi‑country environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to navigate complex matrix organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across banking, operations, technology and compliance functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead digital and innovation initiatives.
