Human Resources Director – Kuwait

About the role

This Human Resources Director position in Kuwait covers the full spectrum of HR strategy, people management and governance. The role advises executive leadership on HR matters and leads organizational design, workforce planning and succession planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and advise executives on HR matters
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning and succession planning
• Oversee recruitment strategies, onboarding and employer branding
• Set up performance management systems and KPIs, and lead leadership development and training
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture, handle complex employee relations issues and drive engagement and retention
• Design and manage compensation and benefits, ensure pay equity and oversee payroll policies
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, develop HR policies, manage audits, reporting and risk mitigation
• Oversee HR systems and data analytics, drive digital transformation and monitor HR metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 10-15+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
