Kitchen Estimator (Remote)

About the role

A leading company is seeking a Kitchen Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for kitchen projects in Kuwait City. The role involves reviewing project requirements, specifications and drawings, assessing materials, labour and related costs, and supporting clear, competitive proposals. It is a full-time position based in Kuwait City and open to remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Review kitchen plans, measurements, specifications and customer requirements to define the scope of work.
• Prepare itemized estimates covering cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, materials, labour, delivery and installation where applicable.
• Request and compare supplier quotations, confirm pricing and availability, and keep cost records up to date.
• Identify omissions, variations and cost risks, and clarify discrepancies before finalizing estimates.
• Collaborate with design, sales, procurement and project teams so proposals are complete and feasible.
• Present estimate assumptions and revisions clearly, and update costing when project requirements change.

Required profile

• Experience preparing estimates or bills of quantities for kitchens, cabinetry, interiors, fit-outs or related construction work.
• Ability to interpret kitchen layouts, technical drawings, dimensions, specifications and material schedules.
• Strong numerical ability and accuracy in calculating quantities, labour, wastage and project costs.
• Working knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, finishes and installation requirements.
• Confident obtaining supplier quotations, comparing prices and following up on product availability.
• Organized documentation, attention to detail, and ability to manage several estimates and deadlines.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating or cost-tracking tools.
• CAD or design software familiarity is an advantage.
