Laundry Technician – Commercial Laundry Equipment

About the role

The Laundry Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing large‑scale commercial laundry equipment in an industrial environment. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and support efficient laundry operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry machines.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Determine required materials, parts, and tools for each repair or installation.
• Manage time and resources to meet repair‑time commitments and control costs.
• Communicate repair status to internal customers and maintain accurate service records.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, including nights and weekends, for emergency situations.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the service industry working with large commercial laundry equipment or similar machinery.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to be part of an emergency on‑call rotation.
