Lead Construction Engineer – Civil Structural (Buildings)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Construction Engineer with deep civil‑structural expertise to oversee building projects under KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions group for the Kuwait Oil Company. The role combines technical design oversight, resource planning and team leadership to ensure high‑quality delivery while maintaining design integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Drive construction involvement in technical design, scheduling, preliminary execution planning and cost estimating.
• Supervise and develop all construction and completions personnel, including construction engineers.
• Forecast, allocate and manage construction engineering resources and man‑hour estimates.
• Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports for each project.
• Promote cost‑reduction and productivity‑enhancing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance guidelines and Occupational Health & Safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of post‑graduation experience, including at least 8 years in civil‑structural building construction.
• At least 5 years in a lead or senior construction engineering role.
• Proven ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale construction projects.
